Tofino Paddle Surf Job Posting

Part time position as SUP FLATWATER INSTRUCTOR, GUIDE and RENTAL COORDINATOR/SALES CLERK (when not guiding) at Mckenzie Beach, Tofino Paddle Surf in Tofino, BC.

July through September 2013. Work, paddle, and surf in Tofino for the summer. Enjoy a fun job on the water with time to play and take the opportunity to work part time at the beach while pursuing a second job in the bustling summer tourism industry.

Ocean guiding experience and some surfing experience are assets. First Aid and CPR certifications must be valid.

Salary Range: Starting at $12/hr . Based on experience / Hourly & Per Tour Rates

• Requirement: Current Standard First Aid course (15hrs) and CPR level “C”
• Requirement: Minimum 2 years SUP experience (professional or personal)
• Asset: Paddle Canada (or equivalent) Advanced Flatwater Instructor Certification
• Asset: Paddle Canada Coastal Surf Course Certification
• Asset: Complete Bronze Cross, Bronze Medallion Lifesaving courses (or equivalent)
• Asset: Minimum 2 years local surfing knowledge
• Asset: Ocean guiding experience
