Rainbow Warrior – Wild Salmon Flotilla
Monday, October 7 10am meet at Middle Chesterman by Frank Island!!

Join Greenpeace’s flagship Rainbow Warrior on the water near Tofino in Tla-o-qui-aht Territory on the morning of October 7. Bring your boat, kayak, canoe, surfboard, paddle board or any sea-worthy vessel to join the flotilla. Let’s send a message that the people of this region love wild salmon—it’s time to get open net-pen salmon farms out of the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere waters! This is a peaceful protest which will be non-confrontational.

Clayoquot Action is coordinating local logistics on behalf of Greenpeace. If you will be human-powered and would like to join a pod of similar craft for the paddle out, please contact [email protected]. Or organize with your friends. If you are planning on bringing a boat and have room for more people, please let me know. If you don’t have a boat, no problem, RSVP and we’ll get you on board one! Please wear bright clothing.
