Coastal Touring and Navigation Course – June 20-22 – EXPLORE TOFINO ON A PADDLEBOARD!!

This 3 day course provides the theory and skills for paddleboard journeying and touring in coastal areas.

Using the picturesque Clayoqout Sound and the coastline of Tofino’s white sand beaches as our classroom we will focus on weather forecasting, trip planning, currents & tides, launching and landing in surf, and improving skills and paddling technique. Adventure and explore the endless waterways around Tofino on your board with expert instruction and enthusiastic guides Catherine Bruhwiler from Tofino Paddle Surf and Norm Hann of Norm Hann Expeditions.

When: June 20-22, 2014

Prerequisite: Advanced Flatwater SUP course or equivalent experience

Time: Starts Friday afternoon
