Tofino COVID-19 Update

We know there is a lot of uncertainty right now among those planning to visit Tofino at the moment. Like other small communities, Tofino and its surrounding area has limited health care resources to serve our region. For the safety of residents and visitors, the District of Tofino, Tourism Tofino, and the Tofino-Long Beach Chamber of Commerce are together asking visitors to follow the directive of the federal and provincial governments and please stay close to home at this time.

We are asking all visitors to postpone trips to Tofino for the next several weeks. We are closely monitoring the situation and will reassess this recommendation on a regular basis. This has been a difficult decision, as we cherish welcoming visitors to our community, and we are looking forward to welcoming you back soon.

We understand that the decision to cancel a trip to our beautiful area is not an easy one to make, and we thank visitors for keeping yourselves, your families, and all of our communities safe.
