Beach Clean Up at Wickaninnish Beach

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN ORGANISED AND WILL BE HOSTED BY THE Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

Join Surfrider Pacific Rim and the Canadian Junior surf team, for a collaboration with Pacific Rim National Parks for a beach clean up at Wickaninnish beach!!!
(*There will be beach cleans for Long beach and Schooner also, with the Surfrider volunteers at Wick Beach)

Meet at the Kwisitis Visitor Centre at 9.30am to sign up the PARKS waivers and receive important safety info. The clean up starts at 10am and will be finished up around 1230!!

Be sure to get involved and receive a Surfrider high five! We will provide some gloves and a bucket and you can head to the beach with your stoke for a great day keepin the coast free of debris! Bring your own reusable cup for some refereshments provided by the Parks too!

Meet the Canadian Junior Surf team and find out more about the training and work they are doing to get to Portugal this September to compete in the ISA world surfing games! These kids will be the first to compete in the Olympics! Help get them there by buying some of their delicious home baked goods, all by donation. YUM! Learn more about what other groups are upto too, on the Pacific Rim. You can enjoy the beautiful interpretive hike from Wick to the other beaches, or bring a picnic and your surfboard for a great day on the beach!
