~ A day at the beach, dedicated to all the mini hardcore Canadian surfers who brave the cold water because they were born to surf!~ Press Release: Tofino, BC, June 30, 2014 – Our family is stoked to announce the First Annual Bruhwiler Kids Classic,, September 20, 2014, with the support of sponsors, friends, and volunteers. The FREE, fun, and competitive event showcases the youngest Canadian surfers who brave the cold waves for their love of surfing.  They are committed to fun times and learning how to shred harder. Some of them just want to be in the water with their friends.  Many of them love to compete and thrive from the excitement of a day at the beach with friends, spectators, sponsors and their families! The Beach Day will run as a one day event in Tofino, using a classic heat/judging…

  Look for your Life’s a Beach kids day camps and week-long camps coming in August 2014! Bring the kids down to the beach everyday for some fun in water and in the sand. The days of fun with friends and enthusiastic camp leaders include beach play, skills and learning, games, surfing, body boogie boarding and skim boarding, paddle boarding, ocean safety, oceanography, ocean safety, kite flying and any other fun things the kids can dream up for a fun morning in the great outdoors!  Bring the kids to join us into growing into mermaids and watermen! For ages 6-10.  *If you have a child 11 years or older, we will be accepting applicants for volunteer ‘junior councillors’ to join our camps free of charge. When: 9am – 1pm Daily – August 1 – August 31 (July 1 – August 31 in 2015)…
