Daily Group Instructional INLET Tour NEW!!! (beginners to advanced)

Join Tofino Paddle Surf on our NEW 2 hour introductory paddleboarding tour of Tofino’s protected and calm INLET areas. Experience the wildlife, scenery and excitement of paddleboarding in this unique and inspiring ecosystem.

This tour includes a 3 day pass for Tofino Botanical Gardens and we initiate our paddle from the pristine beaches in the gardens. We have a guest naturalist speaker from the Raincoast Education Society join us weekly to share his knowledge about the flora and fauna in and around the mudflats.  No experience necessary. All equipment included.

This is an introductory Standup Paddleboard program. Excellent for getting you on the water for the first or tenth time.

Learning safety and skills, enjoying the scenery and wildlife, having a few skills to work on, preparing for your own future adventures, and having fun! The perfect stepping stone to becoming a confident and accomplished paddler.

Our goal in this 2 hour lesson is to turn you on to the fun, safe and exciting sport of stand up paddleboarding. Learn ocean and wave safety, equipment orientation, etiquette on the water, basic turns and paddling techniques and more. Ample time is provide for practice, feedback, and touring with your expert guide. This is the perfect way to enjoy a morning at the beach in Tofino.

Includes: All equipment included & expert instruction. This tour includes a 3 day pass for Tofino Botanical Gardens.  Paddle Canada Basic Standup Paddleboarding Certification upon request.

Prerequisite: No paddleboarding experience necessary, ability to swim highly recommended

  • Includes components of gear education, safety orientation, etiquette guidelines, beach instruction and warm up and practice on the water.
  • Group lessons and tours are available ages 14 and up.
  • All of the lessons and tours include an eco-educational component to encourage understanding, respect and enjoyment of nature.
