There they go. Out to the white bouy and back….

Paddle Arch to cheer on their team mates…the Mini groms was a non-competitive ‘race’ Kids were racing against their own best times…and for the fun of it!!!Thanks to Scarlette for being the a great photog all day and for the older kids (Hayden, Carson, Cole,Sam, Mathea and Lucie) for racing in the 1km and really doing great against the big ‘kids’..Hayden also races the 4km + and was totally incredible, along with Mia from Comox, who won overall fastest female.

fun is a family affair. Thanks to Dede Monette for charging it in her first race ever in a surf class in the long course!! Her whole family was down all day and the kids both raced as well! Lucky guys even have their own private board handler and caddy.

Couple of legends after the 4km+ race in a very interesting and challenging course with little wind, but lots of natural features and obstacles and lots of swell! Super stoked on Tofino Paddle Surf Adult riders Marco ProcopioChad LegebokoffNeil CallaghanSarah Stoskifor how great they all did!!  Mike Redpath, you kicked butt too!!! The top 5 racers were within seconds of each other and Marco Procopiocame in FIRST in the 12’6 category and overall 2nd between a bunch of 14′ Racers! Not bad for his first race ever!!!!! We will see more results from this guy no doubt.
